Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit
of
doing, but let us encourage one another.”
Hebrews 10:25
Adult
Sunday School
Adult Sunday School classes meet directly following the Sunday morning worship
service. For special occasions, all Sunday School classes will combine in the
auditorium.
Why Have
Sunday School Classes? Sunday School classes are a great way to connect with people in the church and
to grow in your relationship with God.
In an increasingly “impersonal” world, where loneliness is prevalent
no matter how large the crowd or how active the schedule... Sunday
School
can help to fill the void and be a blessing in your life.

Fall Adult Sunday School Classes: |
Tim Barsuhn

This class will be continuing a study in the book
of Matthew, beginning with the Beatitudes in Matthew
5 and continuing further into Matthew from there. |
|
|
Dave Globig
Location: Sanctuary
Topic: Parenting Adult Children
In this class, we will be looking at different
examples from the Bible to learn what is effective
when parenting adult children. |
|
|
Pastor Glyn
Location: Fellowship Hall (downstairs by kitchen)
Topic: Biblical Change
Do you ever get tired of the same old struggles?
I’ve talked about them from the
pulpit—sin—confess—sin—confess? Maybe you figure
this will be a life-long battle for you, or maybe
yet you’ve come to the defeated place and conclude,
“I’ll never get victory—ever.” Well, if you have an
area or areas in your life you would like to see
some amazing victories in, this class is for you.
You won’t be made to share your deepest struggles in
front of a group. Our approach will be to dig deep
into God’s Word and seek to unleash His limitless
power to free us from the clutches of sin. Are you
up for that? |
|
|
Dr. Mike Bracy
Location: Downstairs between 123 Worship Room and
Toddler Room
Topic: The Path of Life Series
We will take a “bird’s eye” look at some of the
major things God wants to teach us, and change in
us, as we walk with Him on the path of life. |

Small Groups
Our entire ministry at Cascades is about leading people to faith in
Jesus Christ and then into a life of Christian discovery, and that
is exactly what occurs in our Small Groups. We believe that Small
Groups are practical and Biblical for experiencing life change. They
provide a comfortable and safe place for everyone to experience
support, healing, growth, friendship and challenge.
In a group of 3-12 individuals, you will discover the excitement of
true Christianity with other people of faith as well as the
life-change Jesus intends for every believer.
Small Groups meet weekly in neighborhood homes. If you are not
participating in a Small Group, then why not join one? It is your
way to get connected to the heart of Cascades Baptist Church.
If you are interested in finding out more about small groups, please
contact the church office at (517) 782-9497 or email us at
or by
office@cascadeschurch.com.
